Growing up in the hill district of Kabhre Palanchok, a half-day road trip from Kathmandu, our founder developed a deep connection to the land before moving to the capital for education.
During Nepal's political transition, our founder moved to Malaysia for work. There, witnessing the struggles of fellow workers, he gained life-changing empathy by rescuing and assisting those in need.
Returning to Nepal, the journey in mountain tourism began from the ground up—working as a trekking porter, kitchen assistant, and assistant guide to master the trails.
After years of gathering invaluable experience and confidence, Himalayan Exploration Treks was officially registered, dedicated to showcasing Nepal's beauty responsibly.
