The Ganesh Himal is situated in the Langtang region of Nepal. The Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley trek incorporates the great route into the Ganesh Himal Trek. It’s beautiful geographical diversity of the region while offering glimpses of beautiful, pristine snow-capped peaks like the Langtang, Ganja – La, Langsisha, and Ganesh Himal. Moreover, Paldor peak, Lapsang Karbu, Manaslu, and Annapurna as well as the Tibetan Peaks beyond. The Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley Trek саn start either from the beautiful village Syabrubesi or Dhading Bensi. Then, the trail moves into Dharkha Bensi and to Disang Khola via а village full of Tamang and Brahmin populations residing in perfect harmony with each other. Then the trail ascends the Gurung village of Chalishe through Borang village and Gopre Gaun. The natural soothing hot springs саn visit to soothe the aching muscles and send away the pain. An ascend, further upwards through Aada Khola and Tippling village brings the Laptung village. Finally, reach the Pang sang Pass. Similarly, if the trek starts from Syabru Bensi, the trail goes anti-clockwise along the same trail.

Pang sang La located at а height of 3850 m requires some acclimatization to reduce the risks of altitude sickness. The impressive views of the Ganesh Himal, Ganja – La, Langtang, Paldor, Manaslu and Annapurna ranges provide an everlasting impact. Then descends to the village of Somdang and Ghatlang via Khurpu Danda pass. From Ghatlang, а trek finally concludes to Syabru Bensi via Bahun Danda accompany with the views of Langtang Lirung, Gosainkunda ridge and the pristine Tibetan Peaks beyond it. Thіѕ brings an end to this incredible trek. Along the route, various species such as the Himalayan Thar, red pandas, barking deer, bear, snow leopard, wolf, tiger, pheasants, monkeys, musk deer саn observe. The Ganesh Himal is the destination for Ruby Mines, hence the valley surrounding it is known as the Ruby Valley.

Day 1: Arrival day (1,300 m)

Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will greet and welcome by our agency’s representative in front of Arrival gate with Display board of Himalayan Exploration Treks then transfer to your Hotel.

Day 2: Free day and trek preparation.

During the free day in Kathmandu, you may have a chance to visit heritage site of Kathmandu valley, followed by pre-trip departure meeting regarding upcoming trekking peak climbing where you meet trek guide and others team members. They will brief you about the team formation, equipment and nature of peak climbing and others necessary information

Day 3: Kathmandu – Syabrubensi (1467m) by bus 7h00 drive.

Early morning the team will be heading to Shyabru Bensi (1467 m.) by bus. 7-8 hours picturesque scenic bus journey to Shyabru Bensi, passing by the low land villages and rivers along the route can reach the start point of the trek. Night at a lodge.

Day 4: Shyabru Bensi – Parbati Kunda (2650 m) 7h00 walk

The trails lead us uphill through the zigzag trail out of the deep shadow of Langtang valley to a sunny pass at Bahun Danda with magnificent views of Langtang Himal and ridges of Gosainkunda. Then following the dirt roads that gently forms around the ridges to the Tamang village of Ghatlang. We retreat beautiful rice fields, as well as stone made stupas, mani walls and hemlock-roofed houses neatly aligned side by side. Hike up to the scenic grassy camp just above the beautiful Parbati Kunda, where thousands of pilgrimage are attracted each year in the full moon of August.

Day 5: Parbati Kunda – Somdang ( 3271 m) 7h00 walk.

Start the trek with a continued climb through the hemlock and rhododendron forest up to the Khubru Danda Pass with an elevation of 3,730 meters. After inspiring high mountain views from the pass, we equally descend to Somdang River.

Day 6: Excursion in Somdang, hike to Paldor Peak viewpoint.

Today is excursion day to explore the Zinc mine and continue to hike up to Paldor Peak Base Camp at 4980 meters; destination would take 4 hours more walk for strong trekkers. Descending back to Somdang, we enjoy the fine view of several high mountain waterfalls, scenic mountain vistas.

Day 7: Somdang – Marmelung Kharka (3,010 m) 6h00 walk.

The trail leads up steady climb up to Pang Sang Pass with an elevation of 3,842 meters with sweeping views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu and distance Annapurna Himal. This is one of the most scenic vista points on the trek. Then, we descend to Marmelung Kharka.

Day 8: Marmlung Kharka – Tatopani Hot Springs (1506 m) 6h00 walk.

The trail leads us gradually descend through the Tamang village of Tipling; home to two Buddhist monasteries, a Protestant church, a Catholic church and a cremation ground for both Buddhist and Christians that is creased with colorful flags which represent religious diversities of Nepal. As we arrive Tatopani passes through the villages that combination with multi-religion and friendly villagers.

Day 9: Tatopani – Lapchet (1796 m) 6h00 walk.

We retrace to Ankhu Khola River before passing up and around hilly ridges of Tir Gaon. The trail from here to Lapchet is narrow but good has a very remote feeling. It’s characteristics several ups and downs that lead us Lapchet, traversing through the beautiful millet fields and offers spectaculars view of Ganesh Himal range. We cross the Gandak Khane Khola River before making a final climb to Lapchet.

Day 10: Lapchet – Kachet (2140 m) 6h00 walk.

Start the trek with climbing to Barmachet Danda Pass with an elevation of 2680 meters which offers impressive views of Ganesh Himal range and Paldor Peak and equal descend to remote and friendly village Kachet.

Day 11: Kachet – Rigaon (1600 m) 6h00 walk.

The trail goes down this morning to cross the Hohang Khola River, where a suspension bridge, the beautiful waterfall is found. We then climb up and contour around the ridges and hills with millet terrace fields. As we continue the trail offers sweeping views of Ankhu Khola valley far down and camp at the ridge of Raigaon village.

Day 12: Raigaon – Pokhara Danda (1720 m) 6h00 walk,

Enjoy the trekking through more remote and hilly area where the trails sometimes become less defined and difficult to follow. Since there is no trail signage; this reinforces the importance of staying in your groups with a guide who knows the way. A large recent landslide just before the village of Chimchok marks the beginning of an unimproved dirt road that we follow to Pokhara Danda.

Day 13: Pokhara Danda – Montari Sky Camp (1190 m) 6h00 walk

Easy downhill walk to Monari Sky Camp or big ridge climbs for unforgettable views, beautiful grassy and wooded camp with scenic views.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu

Today, we drive 7-8 hours back to Kathmandu to the hotel to rest, clean up or treat ourselves to a spa a wonderful way to unwind.

Day 15: Rest Day in Kathmandu

Today is totally free; you may do at your own pace. Shopping, sights see whatever.

Day 16: Final departure

You will transfer to airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
