Manaslu Expedition is one of the technical peaks with a height of 8163 meters. The size of Manaslu is similar to the Dhaulagiri. Both are the 5th highest mountains in Nepal and the 8th highest in the world. The Manaslu expedition is a pre-practice climb before climbing Everest. Mount Manaslu lies beautifully in the Manaslu Conservation Area. The summit offers spectacular scenery of the mountain ranges all around. Still, proper acclimatization and mental alertness are mandatory for the climb, along with a need for previous mountain climbing experience and a good physique.

The Manaslu Expedition starts through Arughat since the trekkers observe the experience of the Manaslu circuit trek until Sama Gaon and then into the Manaslu Base Camp. Besides that, the base camp and four other camps must be set up to climb the mountain. The Manaslu Base Camp lies at 4665 meters while the 1st Camp is at 5500 meters. The 2nd and 3rd Camp is at altitudes of 6300 m and 6700 m, respectively, while the 4th Camp lies at 7300 meters. The Base Camp is in a comfortable position but is susceptible to winds and snowfalls.

The way from 1st Camp to 2nd Camp requires passing through steep snowfields with the danger of slipping. Also present are massive icefalls that need to walk upon with precautions. 2nd to 3rd Camp is slippery, followed by trekking up through the ice bulges into the fourth Camp. It is a comparatively challenging climb to the summit from 4th Camp, although it requires mental alertness. Finally, the same path is retraced to end this beautiful expedition or complete the Manaslu circuit.
